Live Better Health & Fitness: lifting up the community

Live Better Health & Fitness’ mission is to make its members feel comfortable when it comes to being a healthier and happier you.The atmosphere is very professional, caring and welcomes all ‘horrible’ dad jokes. Everyone is welcome and is celebrated and supported equally. Live Better Health & Fitness is also 100 per cent community and family valued. As co-owner, Liz Toles says, “Our community is our membership, and they are truly an inspiring group of humans. We are not just a gym; we are a family.”

She adds, “We laugh together, sweat together, cry together, grieve together, learn, and grow together.” While they grow, they always find ways to give the community a helping hand.

The team has taken on numerous students from the Exercise Science program as practicum students and subsequently hired several of them to coach in their facility. They have given one of their members a space in the building and the support the individual needed to start their own registered massage therapy practice alongside the gym. The team has given another member who graduated with a marketing degree the necessary experience to reach their potential.Live Better Health & Fitness is just another fine example of a local Lethbridge business that knows what it takes to “Amplify” the community.
